One of the things I really love is hearing new music. The excitement of pushing play and not really knowing what is coming next will never get boring. What makes this experience even more special is when the song writer is writing from a genuine place of security in themselves. Hearing lyrics and melodies that are honest and not trying to be someone else’s work is one of the truest forms of good songwriting.
My friend James Adams has just released his debut album and all of the above is true of “Waiting Here”. Manchester born James is now the Worship Director at Woodcrest Chapel, Columbia, MO and this collection of six songs are an eclectic snapshot of songs written over several years.
I really encourage you to have a listen to the album here jamesadams.bandcamp.com/ and consider downloading it. Let’s champion honest, local church worship leaders who take the time to write genuine, creative songs of worship.
